Scheiß drauf... Ne Marui MP rockt auch in 0,5. Die Uzi hatte auch nur o,53 und was hatten wir für nen Spaß. MK46, AK und MP5... Scheiße ist das geil! Als Marui-Fanboy werden Träume war. Die NRGS MP5 als SD wird ein absolutes Must Have

Tokyo Marui MP5A5 Next Gen M-System

A summary of the specs revealed by TM yesterday !

- the replicated MP5 is a A5 model from the early 90s
- its weight is 3.1kg, pretty close to the real MP5 in this configuration
- the upper receiver is an alloy diecast piece with a powder paint that is cooked and gives a realistic finish
- the front set is aluminum
- the hand guard, the grip frame, the butt plate, the cocking handle knob are nylon fiber (first time Marui uses this material)
- the muzzle is a tri lug one with no 14mm thread, an adapter piece will be included with the MP5 in order to attach a large range of silencers and accessories
- the cocking lever is functional so that the user will be able to HK slap the MP5 when reloading, still we are waiting for further information regarding how the cocking lever interferes with the loading of this AEG
- the selector is a real ambidextrous one that goes through the gearbox, the axis is centered, and the selector click is positive
- the magazine is 72 rounds, a high capacity mag of 200 rounds is also going to be released
- the magazine size is now realistic, meaning the old MP5 mags will not fit
- the new M-System (Magnetic Fire Control System) is composed of a dedicated IC and FET, 7 magnetic sensors that control the firing
- the M-System allows different functionality: auto-stop men magazine is dry, 3 round burst, motor brake, sector gear position control that prevents from the half cycling and increases reactivity.
- the FET is protected by an electronic fuse
- waiting for more information about the trigger switch
- waiting for more information about the motor size as the grip seemed really thin
- the hop up is located in the ejection port, still we do not know what kind of adjustment wheel it will feature
- the batterie will be stored in the hand guard, it should be a mini Tamiya connector, more information to come
- the hand guard is said to be attached to the MP5 like the real one, real accessories may fit (to be confirmed)
- folding stock has 2 positions and is not wobbling

The Shizuoka Hobby Show of May 2021 will feature Marui’s booth where people from the industry will overview the new MP5A5 Next Gen AEG.
