ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 Airsoft Gun
The CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 by ASG was probably the most groundbreaking airsoft gun we saw at the 2014 SHOT Show. Action Sport Games has done an impressive job mixing new technology with proven reliable designs to make a brand new Airsoft Gun that's packed with new features.

Externally, the CZ Scorpion Evo is an exact replica of the real one. Detachable sights are mounted on the top rail, which can be used to mount a red dot or other optics. Integral side and lower picatinny rails provide for accessory mounting, while the bottom rail is already equipped with a hand stop at the front. The stock on the Scorpion EVO is adjustable and foldable. The length can quickly be adjusted for shooter size or body armor use, and it can be folded for storage or concealment. The polymer body is both lightweight and quite robust, thanks to quality materials used throughout the airsoft gun.

Internally is where almost all of the new technology lies. We've heard a bit about this already, but check out the laundry list of features ASG has worked into the new CZ Evo 3 A1:

[list][/list]As you can see, there's a number of new ideas at work on the inside of the airsoft gun. These advances not only improve reliability, but realism, too. The empty magazine cutoff means no more dry-firing when empty, and cycling the charging handle on a reload certainly adds to the experience. ASG has designed the magazine so that it feeds every last BB without dropping the last 2-3.
Perhaps one of the biggest changes is that the CZ Scorpion EVO is made in Denmark, not Taiwan or Hong Kong. Because the AEG is designed, manufactured, and assembled in Denmark, it gives ASG full control over the quality of the replica, and allows them to deliver a reliable airsoft gun every single time. Additionally, the CZ Scorpion models are assembled by airsoft techs, not factory workers.



Now, the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 is a proline airsoft gun, and is likely going to be priced in the high $300 to low $400 price range. Given the cost of aftermarket MOSFET units, reinforced gearsets, and precision barrels, you're certainly getting a lot for that price, not to mention the lipo protection circuits. ASG informed us that these are in production, and should be available soon. We hope to have them in about as long as it takes to box a couple up and ship them to the US.
We're looking forward to getting our hands on these, as it promises to be a popular model for both CQB and field use. We're also hoping that, in the future, some of these advances get applied to other new models by ASG, but in the end, you have to admit that the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 is the model that's paving the way for a new generation of airsoft guns.
